CaixaBank Research continuously reviews and corrects accessibility barriers identified in newly published content, including colour contrast, keyboard focus visibility, header structure, form accessibility, and the accessibility of PDF documents. The measures planned to this end include the following:

  • Reviewing and correcting colour contrast levels applied to texts, buttons, interface controls and graphic elements.
  • Implementing a visible keyboard focus indicator visible throughout the entire interface.
  • Correcting the semantic structure of headings, lists, tables and navigation elements.
  • Reviewing alternative texts associated with images and replacing the current CAPTCHA verification system with an accessible alternative.
  • Improving the accessibility of PDF documents, including both internally generated documents and those received from third parties, through appropriate training of editorial teams.
  • Reviewing the operation of auto-scrolling carousels, modal windows and dynamic status messages.

In any case, CaixaBank Research considers that a substantial portion of the non-text content on this website – particularly charts, infographics, and tables represented as images inserted in economic analysis publications of an editorial nature – generally serves an illustrative and visual support function to the reasoning already presented in the body of the corresponding article's text, rather than providing additional information not included in the text.
